I am an artist in all of it's many forms, and feel most comfortable in fluid
surroundings that allow for me to express my creativity, whether it may be
through writing, painting, or just decorating my house! I don't feel I am
unique in this title though, I feel everyone has an inner artist in them,
and it's just a matter of letting go of inhibitions and allowing yourself
to speak through actions rather than written or verbal words.
My art generally focuses on non-objective abstract art, letting my emotions,
a certain type of music, or current state of mind drive my painting process.
Often my work progresses slowly as I build up the surface of my paintings
in consecutive layers, spreading the paint thickly on the canvas with a
palette knife, thinly with a wide varnish brush or rubbing it in with a
piece of rag, then scraping into previous layers, rubbing paint off to
expose what is underneath, I am searching to uncover thoughts, emotions
and truths about the contemporary world that could not be expressed in
mere words. When I know I am done, is when my painting has a voice of it's
own, and although the message may be different from one individual to
another, it easily speaks, thus the name of my site,
